Vandy Tutoring

Vandy TutoringVandy Tutoring is a non-profit, independently owned program offering varsity and private school student tutors of English, math, history, social studies, foreign languages, and chemistry. They have been a member of the National Association of Charter Schools since 1995.Charter schools are independently operated for profit schools which have private funding from their parent organizations or districts. There are no standardized tests and there are no government funded scholarships. The salaries of these teachers is competitive with those of their district counterparts. Principals and staff of a charter school must comply with certain government rules, though. There is a lot of good data to be gained from this non-profit organization. These programs allow students to find the right teacher for them, rather than relying on an external source. Because they are independent, they are able to do this without facing political interference. Teachers can teach independently withou t any fear of being fired.Vandy Tutoring's website is filled with information about teachers, including their teaching qualifications, and their progress in their career as teachers. It also gives lessons on the process of becoming a teacher.Tutors play a vital role in the lives of students. As in the case of tutors in a private school, teachers in a public school have to meet requirements for teaching to provide a quality education to children. But the most important part of being a teacher is teaching.Students like to use their knowledge and skills to help solve problems. Tutors, who provide teaching assistance, are in a unique position to show students what they already know and how they can apply it. So it is a very valuable experience for students to interact with a tutor as part of their education. As a student gets older, you might want to continue working with your tutor even after you have graduated. If so, you should think about whether it is possible to continue the relati onship as an employee rather than a student. If so, you should get in touch with the Tutor and suggest this to him or her.Vandy Tutoring is not a program designed for the purpose of collecting fees from students. The costs for admission and tuition are non-refundable. Fees are being assessed in order to provide a good learning environment for students.

This Aspiring Diplomat Learned to Never Give Up

This Aspiring Diplomat Learned to Never Give Up This Aspiring Diplomat Learned to Never Give Up Impa, 12-years-old, Level L Math, Reading Program Completer Just over a year ago, 12-year-old Impa successfully completed the Kumon Reading Program, which ends with analyzing the works of Shakespeare. Now, she is working towards completing the Kumon Math Program as well. It’s no surprise that Impa is ahead of her peers in school, while she’s already studying the introduction of calculus in the 7th grade. “Working on challenging material in Kumon makes me realize how important grit and dedication are,” said Impa. “I feel so proud and satisfied with myself every time I think back to those moments. I now know that the hardest mountain is the best one to conquer!” Wow, inspiring words from such a young girl. Impa’s tenacity and work ethic will be key factors in helping her achieve her dreams of one day becoming a diplomat. Outside of the classroom, Impa maintains an active lifestyle by participating in competitive volleyball, swimming, dance, and hiking â€" just to name a few. She is proud to say that she was the only student selected from her school to be a part of Envision. This prestigious STEM Program seeks bright students from across the country for the opportunity to not only work towards their future success, but to also get a real hands-on STEM experience. Members of the program work on projects that mirror real-world challenges, and require a great level of innovation, creativity, critical thinking skills, and communication. Impa’s hard work and dedication was recognized, having been one of 55 students selected to attend the 2018 Kumon Student Conference in Calgary, Canada. We had the opportunity to speak to Impa about her Kumon journey thus far. How has Kumon helped you academically? Kumon has helped me academically by giving me advantages in school. I recently got transferred to a new school which teaches at a level above your current grade. I am currently in 7th grade, however I am learning 8th grade level material. Thanks to Kumon, my school work feels like a breeze. I am also in the Gifted and Talented Program, which teaches me new material that’s ahead of my peers. How has Kumon helped you outside of the classroom? Kumon has helped me outside of the classroom by teaching me what grit and perseverance are. Because of the level of commitment that Kumon takes, I learned to never give up. I have learned that pushing forward and looking at the big picture helps me. Each day, I am striving for excellence. What keeps you motivated in Kumon? At first, Kumon feels like a hurdle. At times it feels very difficult to reach, overcome, and finish. Once you’ve gotten over the “hurdle,” it feels great! Knowing I already completed the Kumon Reading Program keeps me motivated to work through any tough levels in Math. What did attending the Student Conference mean to you? It was such a special moment for me, and I realized right then that the past six years were completely worth it. I would tell anyone that joining Kumon was the best decision I ever made! What advice do you have for other Kumon Students? I would tell other Kumon Students that despite any challenge they may face, Kumon is going to be the one thing that you’re going to be so thankful for. Discover even more student success stories. How an Irvine Tutor Can Help With College Admissions Part II

How an Irvine Tutor Can Help With College Admissions Part II An Irvine Tutor Can Help with College Applications (Part II) An Irvine Tutor Can Help with College Applications (Part II) Resumes and Supplements Many schools ask for resumes as part of your application, have additional supplementary requirements, or allow for these additions as optional portions of your application.   As an experienced tutor can help guide you through these portions.   Should you add supplemental information, is it optional?   What should be included in your resume?   How do you answer the extra questions they ask?   Some of the questions seem random or weird; how do they want you to answer them? An experienced tutor can guide you through these questions and more.   You should never be confused about how to answer a question or what a college is looking for. Recommendations Your tutor probably isn’t someone who will be writing you a letter of recommendation for your applications.   However, they can definitely help you gather good ones.   Students are often very nervous about asking teachers and superiors for letters of recommendation.   They don’t know who to ask or how to ask, and most importantly, they don’t know if the letters they are receiving are good. But your letters of recommendation can be a huge part of your applications.   A bad letter can tank your admission decisions, and lukewarm or generic letters can keep you out of your top schools who were looking for more. A tutor can help guide you through the process.   They know what colleges are looking for in letters of recommendation and are familiar with the process.   They can help you ask the right people the right way.   Your letter writers should know what you want included to better your acceptance chances.   Your tutor may also help you diversify your letter writers if you are submitting several applications, and guide you on how to know if the letters you are getting are high quality. Planning and Review Overall, the college search and application process is stressful, time-consuming, and confusing to navigate.   Couple that with all of the other added stress going on in a student’s life during this time, and you have a formula for procrastination and unoptimized submissions. A tutor can help you make a plan and stick with.   They know what to do and how long it will take.   Most importantly, they can check -n and hold you or your student accountable for completing tasks on time. In this way, you can eliminate procrastination and mitigate stress â€" while still improving application quality.   A tutor can also make sure the applications are done ahead of time to give ample time for review and adjustments. An experienced, specialized tutor can do much more than help students improve grades and test scores.   If you or your students are preparing college applications, consider an in-home Irvine tutor to help guide and improve the process.   Don’t let these applications get submitted without exact time, effort, and expert knowledge making sure that they are the best that they can be. TutorZ is SSL Encrypted to Boost Security, Integrity and Google Ranking

TutorZ is SSL Encrypted to Boost Security, Integrity and Google Ranking Palo Alto, California, November 29th, 2016 -TutorZ LLC, the nation-wide leader of affordable tutoring now uses SSL encryption to protect the users data. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security technology that establishes an encrypted link between a web server and a browser and maintains the privacy of the communication and guarantees the safety of the visitors data. The encryption of the data has been completed for all pages. As of today all TutorZ pages are seen in a browser with the green lock indicating a safe and secure connection to the TutorZ server. In even more technical terms the SSL update provides users with three layers of protection: 1. Data encryption. This means that data, such as username and passport, are encrypted and cannot be seen by a possible eavesdropper. 2. Data Integrity. Data, such as payment cannot be modified or re-directying during the transfer. 3. Authentication. This means that only users who they claim to be can communicate with TutorZ and our credit card provider PayPal. To TutorZ as a company the SSL deployment has several key benefits itself: 1. More referrer data. Whenever traffic passes from a secure HTTPS site to a non-secure HTTP site, the referral data gets stripped away. This traffic shows up in TutorZ Google analytics report as Direct. This is a problem because we dont know where the traffic actually comes from. 2. Google ranking boost. As of 2014 Google increases the ranking of pages that are secured by SSL. This boost can even be quantified to range between 1% and 5%, according to a searchmetrics study in 2015. In 2016 Google even increased its emphasis on the HTTPS signal to the point that almost all top ranked pages at Google are SSL secured. There is a right way to update a website with SSL. For us a TutorZ right looks like this: 1. HTTPS is enabled, meaning you can type in https://www.tutorz.com and youll see the website â€" d’oh! 2. The other HTTPS URL â€" in this case https://tutorz.com â€" as well as both HTTP URLs (http://tutorz.com and http://www.tutorz.com) all redirect to https://www.tutorz.com ensuring there is only one canonical version of the content available 3. Every redirect leads directly to the canonical version of the content. It redirects A B, not A C D B. 4. Every redirect uses the HTTP status codes for permanent redirects (301) instead of temporary redirects (302 or 307) Lets toast to us with bottle of properly authenticated party participants drinking a class of integrity cocktail to boost ?? Great Education Through Tutoring Education

Great Education Through Tutoring EducationTutoring education in the US and Canada can be found with many teaching institutes. The institutes which offer tutoring education in the US and Canada are all very well established with good reputations. They are highly regarded by both parents and children for their regular high quality tutoring service. They also offer unique tutoring classes that are based on a particular subject.Tutoring is regarded as a form of teaching in which a student is taught and trained to teach others. This is often done in group discussions where the teacher does not address the students directly. The lesson that is taught is much like the classroom, the students and teachers are just separated into two rooms and the discussion is only between the students and the teacher. The students and teachers spend a specific period in a room together. Some areas of the lessons are referred to the students as 'lines'.In some countries, tutoring is taught through the intern et. There are many online tutoring institutions where the tutors work and live through the internet. There are also some schools in India and other parts of the world where there are internet related tutoring courses for students. Other than these, there are many companies who sell tutoring education and have their own institutes or centres.Tutoring education is a science and it requires the same procedure for any educational institution. When you visit a classroom where there is no class teachers, you see that the students do not get anxious. They are able to do very well. Similarly, the class teachers get nervous when they enter the class where there is no one to guide them. There is always the fear that the teacher may forget his/her lesson or should give it in a wrong way.To overcome this, the students with poor handwriting must be made to write by the tutor himself or herself. Or if there is a need, a public speaker could be asked to speak on the lessons. This would then give t he student confidence and feel a sense of achievement as he/she has become competent. The students too need encouragement and support to succeed. It is a fact that once you do not get proper tutoring education, it becomes difficult to compete at higher levels. Hence, you must spend a considerable amount of time in getting a good tutor education.Learning without the support from a teacher is as if you were learning alone. On the other hand, the tutoring sessions done by a tutor are akin to an education session. Thus, taking up tutoring education is seen as important as the acquisition of learning.
